Maximizing God’s Woman, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2012 by Sharron Dansby.
Vision Statement: We see healthy families where women mentor other women to maximize their full potential.
Mission Statement: To prevent child sexual abuse by raising community awareness and to ignite healthy relationships for women struggling with the long-term effects of abuse.
What we believe about victims/survivors:
- We believe victims of abuse are not to blame.
- We believe that it takes courage to disclose the abuse and deal with the long-term effects of the abuse.
- We believe that change starts with a willing heart.
- We believe survivors can live a full, productive and wholesome life.
- We believe survivors can learn the skills necessary to engage in healthy relationships.
- We believe when survivors are engaged in their mental health they can help to stop the abuse in future generations.
Maximizing God’s Woman networks with other organizations to help women learn the appropriate tools and skills necessary to bring about a positive change.
